Data Boost

Terms of Service

Last updated 13 September 2026.

Who you are contracting with

Gatebreak Technologies Ltd, company number 16566997, 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. Using Data Boost means accepting these terms.

What we provide

We sell prepaid eSIM data plans. We are a reseller: the connectivity comes from third-party mobile networks through our wholesale supplier, and we do not operate those networks. Coverage, speed and availability depend on them and on where you are.

Your eSIM

An eSIM can be installed once. After installation it is tied to that device and cannot be moved, so install it on the phone you will be travelling with. Your device must support eSIM and must not be locked to a network.

Plans are data-only. They do not include calls or texts and cannot be used for emergency calls. Keep a means of making emergency calls available at all times.

When a plan starts and ends

Unless a plan says otherwise, its validity begins when the eSIM first connects to a network, not when you buy it. Each plan states how long it lasts and how much data it includes. When the data is used up or the period ends, the plan stops. Unused data is not refunded or carried over.

Auto-renew

Auto-renew is off unless you switch it on. With it on, we charge your saved card for another period of the same plan shortly before the current one ends, and keep doing so until you turn it off. You can turn it off at any time in the app, and it takes effect immediately.

Cancellation and refunds

You normally have 14 days to cancel a digital purchase. By buying an eSIM that is issued to you immediately, you ask us to begin supplying it straight away and accept that your right to cancel is lost once supply has begun. This is your statutory right being waived knowingly, not removed by us.

In practice: if you have not installed and used the eSIM, contact us and we will refund it. Once a plan has connected to a network we generally cannot, because our supplier has charged us for the data. If a plan does not work and the fault is ours or our supplier's, you are entitled to a remedy and we will put it right.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service unlawfully, do not resell it, and do not use it in a way that damages the network or other users. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used this way, and will tell you why.

Our responsibility

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for interruptions caused by the underlying networks, by your device, or by matters outside our reasonable control. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise our liability is limited to what you paid for the plan concerned.

Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other consumer protection law.

Your account

You must be 18 or over. Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

Changes

We may change these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you in the app before it applies. Continuing to use the service after that means accepting the change.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
